Enjoy an hour and a half of complete bliss and relaxation, focused on you! Zone out in this guided restorative yoga and yoga nidra session.

We'll spend the first hour using props, pillows, blankets and cushions to support the body to melt into each posture. We stay on the floor, never coming up to standing, to move inwards. The focus of this session is self love and acceptance, as it's close to valentines day, and to give you a flavour of that we will use the following affirmations:

I am exactly where I need to be
I meet myself exactly as I am
I deserve rest
I feel love flowing in to me

​

The postures will focus on the heart chakra area - opening through the chest and the upper back.

The last 30 minutes of the class will be a guided yoga nidra, sometimes known as yogic sleep. I will guide you into that meditative state in-between asleep and awake - aware yet totally and completely relaxed.

Following one from our hugely successful sold out Mum and Baby Yoga & Pottery Christmas Special, Anna from Sunnyside Art Studio and I are excited to collaborate once more to bring you a father's day special!

 

This special half term workshop includes:

• 45 Minutes of Yoga for Mummies

• 15 Minutes social and play time in the private soft play and ball pit

• One Mug to be personalised by your baby/child with hand or foot print, which can be gifted to daddy for Father's Day!

 

Anna then takes your mug away and adds further personalisation (For example, Happy Father's Day - to be discussed at the workshop) and fires the mugs in her kiln. You can collect your mug from Sunnyside Art Studio (just round the corner from Lanterns on Stockbridge Road) or arrange collection from myself in plenty of time for Father's Day which is two weeks later.

 

Anna has very kindly offered my yoga attendees the mugs for a discounted rate of just £10 each, which is included in the price of the ticket. You may create more than one and Anna will have a card payment option on the day.
